ACEH (voa-islam.com) – The team of Aceh Provincial Police Headquarter arrested four people that were suspected as the members of Jemaah Islamiah (JI) located in the Jalin mountain, the district of Kota Jantho, Aceh Besar. Unfortunately it was regreted because it ran in tragic. Two civil citizens was shot. In fact, One of them died.
The incident was happened at Tuesday afternoon, february 23th, while police tried to catch some people who were suspected as the members of Jemaah Islamiyah. The Arrest took around 14 hours. Police started to move on Monday noon till 04.00 o’clock in the morning.
A civil citizen called Kamaruddin, alias Raja Rimba, 37, died and his child named Suheri, 14, was shot. The Head of Provincial Police, Irjen Pol Aditya Warman stated forgiveness and condolence.
According to information collected by Metro Aceh, Kamaruddin was died in suffer because police bullet was pierced his body.

The Provincial Police of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) also believed that the three people captured by Police Resort of Aceh Besar were the members of Jamaah Islamiyah. It was proved after police found a book entitled ‘Mimpi Suci Dibalik Jeruji Besi’ composed by Ali Gufron.
The Head of Aceh Provincial Police, Irjen Pol Adityawarman also mentioned, Police was succesed in catching four persons who were suspected as the members of JI. They were Ismed Hakiki (40) and Zakky Rahmatullah (27). They both lived in Pandeglang, Banten. Others were came from Aceh Besar. They were Yudi Zulfahri (27) , the citizen of Perumnas Lambheu, Darul Imarah subdistrict and Masykur Rahmat (21) the citizen of Gampong Miruek, subdistrict Krueng Barona Jaya.
The evidences collected by the police were stripe uniform from abroad, duffle bag, tent, money, numbers of books and CD (one of them entitled “perlawanan kaum tertindas”)
“There is no weapon, but we remain to investigate all that evidences” He added
According to The Head of Provincial Police, for reason of deepening the case, he will co-ordinates with police detachment that understanding about terrorism. He assumed that those groups were came from the outside of Aceh.
“This Group stands up single, not relate to the local one. They practiced here to exploite Aceh’s situation,” Adityawarman confirmed.

According to The Head of Provincial Police, the victim actually would came out if government officers were really stabilize. The police officers that were sent down only a few. It was not really enough, because they have to catch more than 50 people which is fully armed.

The aliance team of The Aceh Provincial Police Headquarter rubbed up against two people when the night was come. They were Komaruddin and his son Suheri. They wanted to go fishing. When the warning of gunfire was released, they were not bothered it because it was hindered by the darkness. That bullet had nested in left foot of Kamarudin, and others penetrated his left breast. Raja Rimba finally defeat on-site.
“ The Densus 88 of Aceh Besar went down through the location only to check the existence of JI. Once again I submit forgiveness,” Said the Head of the Provincial Police while gave an explanation to journalist (february 23th 2010).
According to information collected from the citizen, Komaruddin fond of fishing. His favorite place was in the river of Jalin mountain area. At Monday, Komaruddin invited his son to went along with him. Nevertheless both of them injured because of the incident. The bullet hit his son’s foot . On the way to the hospital, Komaruddin died. Whereas the child was not, but he is seriously injured.
Many people made a visit of condolence in Komarudin’s house in the area of Kuta Cot Gile. They had lost their friends very much. The Atmosphere inside of sittingroom fulfilled by the sadness. His family pleased number of journalists to take picture and the wound of Komarudin’s dead body.
Based on this case, the Head of Indonesian Police Headquarter continued to run complete prosecution for his members. He stated that he had degraded an investigation team to examine that case.
“They would even taken action againts my members if they had been guilty”
The Chief of Indonesian Police Public Relation Division, Irjen Edward Aritonang stated in Jakarta, Friday (february 26, 2010).

The victim of wrong shot happened in attack operation was very regreted by a member Aceh Besar House Of Representative, named Darmuda.
“In running the arrest, police ought to be more professional so that civil society would not be injured. The incident above abselutely remains wide effects in society ” Darmuda explained, on Wednesday (february, 24).
According to Darmuda, the died citizen are poor.
“As the compensation of the incident, the police must responsible for the continuance of victim child education. The children can break their school and abandone. police should pay attention on it” He added

The Headquarter Aceh Provincial Police must be investigated
The death of civil citizen shot by police was very regrettable. Even The Headquarter of Provincial Police in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Irjen Adityawarman has stated apologize for its mistake, nevertheless many people claimed that he have to responsible for the operation. In other word, he should be investigated.
“There must be an inspection effort and investigation for him, not just only giving any apologies” said The Chief of Moslem Lawyer Council, Mahendradatta, in Jakarta (february ,24, 2010).
According to Mahendradatta, Even Irjen Adityawarman has apologized and confessed that the incident was not intentionally happened, but that action must be processed into the law.
“That was the consequence of the euphoria of feeling success against terrorism. unfortunately, the thing which is exactly emerge is the abuse of power,’’ He said.

Request in order to held an investigation also came from the Head of Indonesian Police Watch, Neta Sanusi Pane.
‘’Officially I will ask Human Right Commision to go down through Aceh, directly to investigate this case,’’ He said.
According to Neta, if The Police Profession and Security Division just involved the members of Indonesian Police Headquarter in handling this case, it would bring insufficient result for investigation. [taz/from various of sources]
